PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for elucidating the immunological feature of thymoma complicated myasthenia gravis (MG) to simply and early diagnosing the presence of thymoma complication in a MG patient. SOLUTION: The presence of the complication of myasthenia gravis and thymoma of an examinee is inspected using the level of IL-12p40 and/or anti-IL-12p40 antibody in the peripheral blood isolated from the examinee as an index.
