ELECTRONIC ENDOSCOPE UNIT AND ELECTRONIC ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope unit which can minimize the number of wiring within it contributing to the finer diameter of it and an electronic endoscope system equipped with such the electronic endoscope unit as this. SOLUTION: An electric signal obtained by an imaging element 1 provided at the distal end part of the electronic endoscope unit is converted to an optical signal at a light emitting part 6 to be transmitted through a fiber 7. This minimizes the wiring within the electronic endoscope unit thereby achieving the finer diameter of the distal end part of the electronic endoscope unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
