PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum cover which cools a laying temperature being set in summer time when the temperature of a concrete in the rotating drum of a concrete mixer truck becomes high in a manner not to exceed the laying temperature, and at the same time, can radiate the hydration heat resulting from the hydration reaction occurring in the rotating drum. SOLUTION: This drum cover 20 is equipped with a heat-insulating cover 24, and a separating member 23. In this case, the heat-insulating cover 24 covers at least the outer peripheral surface of the rotating drum 13 which is equipped with both end surfaces and the outer peripheral surface. The separating member separates the heat-insulating cover from the outer peripheral surface, and forms a gap section for making the circulation of air and the radiation from the outer peripheral surface possible. During the traveling of the mixer truck, air circulates in the gap section and cools the drum wall, and the hydration heat which is generated in the rotating drum 13 is radiated to the air which circulates through the gap section through the drum wall.
