PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber sheet butt jointing apparatus which forms a jointed part wherein the part shows no protruding, rollers for pinching a rubber sheet hardly stick to the rubber sheet, and the rubber sheet is not damaged. SOLUTION: A first front roller group 21 and a first back roller group 22 whose axial centers are separately arranged in the delivering direction of the rubber sheet S, and a second front roller group 41 and a second back roller group 42 whose axial centers are separately arranged in the delivering direction of the rubber sheet, are oppositely arranged by placing the rubber sheet between them. Front driving means (23 and 43)synchronously rotationally driving the first and second front roller groups pinching the rubber sheet, and back driving means (24 and 44) synchronously rotationally driving the first and second back roller groups pinching the rubber sheet, are rotationally controlled with a difference in their speeds.
