A frit composition is provided to produce a light emitting display that does not require a drying agent and has a longer life than the conventional epoxy-sealed light emitting displays. A frit composition comprises a glass part comprising a base component and at least one absorbing component. The base component includes 5 to 75 mol% of SiO2, 10 to 40 mol% of B2O3, and 0 to 20 mol% of Al2O3. The at least one absorbing component includes (a) CuO more than 0 and less than or equal to 25 mol% or (b) Fe2O3 more than 0 and less than or equal to 7 mol%, 0 to 10 mol% of V2O5, and 0 to 5 mol% of TiO2. |
