POTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE OF MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION AND WIRELESS LAN

A potable terminal device for mobile communication and WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) is provided to perform communication without booting and use wireless communication in a shadow area of the WLAN by displaying the communication performed in a CDMA(Code Division Modulation Access) module to a sub display unit installed to the outside of a portable terminal device such as a laptop computer. A switch(210) provides power received from a power supply unit(200) to a computer system or the CDMA module. A controller(220) analyzes/processes digital data by operation simultaneously with monitoring and controlling whole computer system. A main display unit(110) displays various kinds of data by control of the controller. A WLAN card(230) connects with the controller by being inserted into a slot embedded in the system and supports the WLAN. The CDMA module(240) supports the mobile communication independent of the WLAN. The sub display unit(130) displays a result performed by the CDMA module. The main display unit is installed to an inner side of a cover of the portable terminal device and the sub display unit is installed to a part of an outer side of the cover.
