<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium compound metal oxide useful for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of showing a higher capacity maintenance ratio than in the conventional types. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium compound metal oxide containing Li, Ni, and M (here, M is Mn and/or Co.) gives the following signal B, in spectrum, at a rotation speed of 10 kHz out of a solid nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of<SP>7</SP>Li of the lithium compound metal oxide obtained by a nuclear magnetic resonance measurement method 1. The signal B is a signal having a center peak and its rotating side band, with the center peak in a chemical shift within a range of +1,100 to +1,900 ppm, and a maximum peak in a chemical shift, within a range of +2,100 to +2,600 ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
