<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a localization controller and a localization control method etc. capable of allowing only a listener to feel low sounds and hardly causing distortion. <P>SOLUTION: A DSP (digital signal processor) 2 executes the localization control of harmonic components corresponding to low sound components in an input acoustic signal. The DSP 2 is provided with a low sound component extracting section 20 for extracting the low sound components in the inputted acoustic signal, a low sound component power calculating section 21 for calculating the power of the extracted low sound components, a harmonic component extracting section 22 for extracting the harmonic components corresponding to the low sound components in the inputted acoustic signal, and a localization control section 23 for executing the localization control of the extracted harmonic components in accordance with the calculated power of the low sound components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
