<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of recording a high quality image at a high speed in which a degree of parallelism between a conveyance roller for conveying a sheet of a recording medium and a guide mechanism for guiding a carriage in the reciprocal movement can be adjusted so that a high quality image can be output even when using a recording head which is long in the sheet conveyance direction. <P>SOLUTION: This recorder comprises the conveyance roller 36 for conveying a sheet, a recording head for performing the recording on the sheet, the carriage reciprocally moving by carrying the recording head. The recorder further comprises the guide mechanism 52 for guiding the reciprocal movement of the carriage and a parallelism adjustment mechanism 500 for adjusting the degree of parallelism between the conveyance roller and the guide mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
