<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately rupture a rupture projected part by pressing a force of an air bag and prevent the breakage of a door adjacent portion. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag door 50 is provided with door panels 22, 22 constituting part of a base material 12 and positioned inside an outer edge rupture projected part 32 formed on the base material 12, the door adjacent portion 24 also constituting part of the base material 12 and positioned outside the outer edge rupture projected part 32, and an reinforcement member 42 reinforcing the back side of the door adjacent portion 24. The thickness D1 of the door panel 22 is set smaller than the thickness D2 of the door adjacent portion 24, and steps 52 are formed in the border portions between the door panels 22, 22 and the door adjacent portion 24 along the outer edge rupture projected part 32.
