PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the impact to imaging quality derived from the difference in the minute currents flowing into a clip transistor, between the time of read-out of N output (noise level) and the time of read-out of S output (data level). SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device 100 comprises: a picture element output line 130; a picture element 101 for driving the picture element output line 130 according to the light made incident; and a clip transistor 121 for limiting the voltage potential of the picture element output line 130 when reading the noise level from the picture element 101. Furthermore, the photoelectric conversion device 100 comprises a control circuit 140 for controlling the gate voltage potential of the clip transistor 121. The control circuit 140, when reading noise level, supplies a voltage potential VCLIP for limiting the voltage potential of the picture element output line 130 to the gate of the clip transistor 121. The control circuit 140, when reading the data level, supplies a voltage potential determined according to the voltage potential of the picture element output line 130 to the gate of the clip transistor 121.
