PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion apparatus capable of suppressing longitudinal stripe-like noise in an image, for example. SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion apparatus relating to a first aspect of the present invention comprises: a photoelectric conversion unit which converts light into electric charge; a charge conversion unit which converts the electric charge into a potential; a transfer unit which transfers the electric charge from the photoelectric conversion unit to the charge conversion unit; an amplification unit which reads a signal based on the potential of the charge conversion unit; a reset transistor which resets the potential of the charge conversion unit; a control unit which applies at least three voltages to the gate of the reset transistor; and a difference circuit which differences the signal based on the reset potential of the charge conversion unit and a signal based on the potential of the charge conversion unit to which the electric charge is transferred.
