PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy conservation toner capable of securing cleanability and having a range of shape differentiation degree not so as to damage image quality, in a toner basically semispherical and having a plurality of dents for the purpose of improving the cleanability of a spherical toner. SOLUTION: Regarding the electrophotographic toner at least including a binder resin and a pigment, and fundamentally semispherical and having a plurality of dents on the surface, in the two-dimensional image of the expanded toner particle, when a circle circumscribing the circular profile thereof is determined, a total sum of the areas of the circle and the dents is determined, and, provided that the numerical value of the percentage of the (the area of the circle-the total sum of the areas of the dents) occupied in the area of the circle is defined as the envelopability by the circle, the average envelopability by the circle decided by averaging the developability by the circle measured to the toner particles of 10 to 10,000 is from 74 to 84%, also, minimum fixability temperature is from 110 to 140°C, and fixable temperature width (hot offset temperature-minimum fixability temperature) is from 60 to 100°C.
