PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower which enhances blast efficiency and prevents an impeller from being deformed even though the acceleration is applied from the outside. SOLUTION: At least one of contact parts of a substrate 12 and casing 13 is provided with a substantially annular interference protecting part 15 by inclining an impeller 2 by external force. At least one clearance A of the axial clearances between a rear shroud 5 and the substrate 12 of an air guide 10 and between a front shroud 4 and the casing 13 is minimized to reduce the volume of air circulating in the clearance. The production of turbulent flow at an area irrelevant to the mainstream is prevented to enhance blast efficiency. Even though the impeller 2 is inclined due to application of external force and brought into contact with the substrate 12 or casing 13, as a result, the force transmitted to the impeller 2 in the substantially annular interference protecting part 15 is attenuated to prevent the impeller 2 from being deformed.
