PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a blur on the inner surface of a lens by preventing dew condensation and freezing on the inner surface of the lens caused by fuel vapor generated in a fuel tank. SOLUTION: This fuel gauge comprises a gauge housing 10 mounted to a mounting port 7 of an upper face wall of the fuel tank T; an indicator 15 held in the gauge housing 10 and moving according to the rise/fall of the liquid level of stored fuel in the fuel tank T; a lens holder 20 closing the upper end of the gauge housing 10; and the transparent lens 21 fitted into an inspection hole 19 provided in the lens holder 20. The gauge housing 10 is mounted with a cover 25 for covering the lower face. The fuel vapor generated in the fuel tank T is thereby restrained from infiltrating into the gauge housing 10 to prevent dew condensation and freezing on the inner surface of the lens caused by the fuel vapor.
