PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint cover for a platform, which accommodates relative displacement of skeletons and surface bodies, is enhanced in safety by avoiding danger of passengers caused by partial irregularity thereof or slippage thereon, enhanced in reliability by preventing degradation and damage due to external factors and improving the durability, facilitates attaching/detaching work thereof, has excellent sealing performance, and exhibits a well arranged external appearance. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the expansion joint cover, a pair of edge members 2, 3 formed of L-shaped aluminum sections, which extend in a clearance 10 of the platform 20 in a width direction of the same, and have perpendicular portions 2a, 3a, 2h, 3h opposed to each other in a longitudinal direction, have cover body engaging grooves 2c, 3c, 2j, 3j. Then a highly elastic cover body 4 which is made of a thermoplastic elastomer and has a plurality of linear hollow portions 4b, has both end engaging portions 4a thereof engaged with and striding over the engaging grooves 2c, 3c, 2j, 3j, to thereby conceal and cover the clearance 10.
