PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve mechanical characteristics of a conventional composite obtained by directly dispersing organized clay, etc., prepared by modifying silica or clay which is a silicon compound in a polyurethane. SOLUTION: The compatibility of interfaces between particles and the polyurethane is improved by previously modifying silicon compound particles with a polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in a polyurethane composite obtained by dispersing and compositing the silicon compound particles such as aluminosilicate particles or polysilicic acid particles in the polyurethane. For example, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate or butyl methacrylate is preferably used as the ethylenically unsaturated monomer.
