PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve waterproofing performance for a substrate and a light emitting element without causing cost increase due to increase in the number of parts or malfunctioning such as deterioration of illuminance. SOLUTION: The lighting system for an indicator inside a car is provided with the substrate 26 comprising the light emitting element 28, a lens 30 to diffuse light from the light emitting element through it, and an indicator plate 24 to be illuminated by the light diffused through the lens. The lens 30 has a wall 32 integrally formed to surround the circumference of the substrate 26. The substrate 26 is thus covered with the wall 32 and the lens 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
