Natural fiber composite material comprises one or more particular natural material, one or more thermoplastic binder and one or more adhesive agent, where the adhesive agent is a polymer based on (a) vinyl chloride; (b) one or more monomers such as 1-20C-alkyl carboxylic acid vinyl ester, acrylic acid ester or methacrylic acid ester of 1-20C-alcohol or -diol, or acrylonitrile; (c) one or more epoxy containing vinyl monomer; and (d) optionally one or more monomers such as ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, whose anhydrides or other auxiliary monomers are used. An independent claim is included for the preparation of the natural fiber composite material comprising thermoplastic forming of the natural material, thermoplastic binder and adhesive agent.
