<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which allows efficient image selection by updating an image display list for each scene. <P>SOLUTION: In the configuration which displays an image list of photographs or the like and makes a user select and output images as objects to be printed from the displayed image list, a set of images decided as images of similar scenes is set as an image set to be subjected to collective scroll processing. When the user selects an image as an object to be printed from the image list displayed on a display, display update processing of collectively scrolling images included in the same image set as the selected image to switch the image to an image of a next different scene is performed.
