<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode driving device which is capable of protecting a light emitting diode properly against electrostatic damage without causing an unnecessary increase in device size, and to provide an air cleaning machine using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting diode driving device is equipped with a control board 200 mounted with light emitting diodes LED1 to LED3 whose ON-OFF are controlled according to control signals, and a control board 300 mounted with a microcomputer 303 which generates the control signals. The control board 200 is configured so as to be equipped with a drive element (transistor Tr3b), which generates a drive current of the light emitting diode LED3 according to the control signals, interposed between an external terminal and the light emitting diode LED3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
