<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel which includes an active component array substrate, a counter substrate and an optically compensated birefringence (OCB) type liquid crystal layer. <P>SOLUTION: The active component array substrate includes a first substrate, a plurality of first lines, a plurality of second lines, a plurality of pixel structures and a first alignment layer. The first alignment layer has a first alignment direction, and the included angle between the first alignment direction and the first lines falls into the range of 46° to 74°. The counter substrate has a second alignment layer facing the active component array substrate. The second alignment layer has a second alignment direction parallel to the first alignment direction.
