<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which displays symbols with excellent entertaining potentialities along with a possibility of enhancing expectation felt by players, and its playing method. <P>SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with a display which has a screen capable of displaying a symbol arrayed image with a plurality of symbols and a valid area image with such a shape as enabling the holding of one or more of symbols and a controller which sets a high dividend region inside the valid area image corresponding to the number of bets and displays the symbol arrayed image with a plurality of symbols while the valid area image is displayed being superimposed on the symbol arrayed images to award a dividend corresponding to the symbols held in the valid area image stopped so that the dividend corresponding to the symbols held in the high dividend area is higher than that corresponding to those held in the valid area image except for the high dividend region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
