<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system capable of recovering a fault by canceling mismatching in the state of a path and then applying protection processing when the fault occurs in an IF of an optical switch unit while a GMPLS control device is re-initiated. <P>SOLUTION: The network system includes a route control section for setting a route on which data are transferred, and a data transfer section connected to the route control section. The data transfer section transfers data in accordance with an instruction of the route control section and stores route information and when a fault is detected on a data transfer route, the route information is changed. When a fault is detected while the route control section is re-initiated, route information before and after the fault detection is stored, any one of the route information before and after the fault detection is transmitted to the route control section, and any one route information to be transmitted is determined based on an internal state. The route control section stores the route information of the data transfer section, route information is received from the data transfer section after re-initiation, and route information stored in the route control section controlling an adjacent data transfer section is acquired and recovered into route information before re-initiation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
