PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting construction of a guard net, easily fitted and having a small number of parts in an exterior unit of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: In this exterior heat exchanger 11 with the guard net 5 mounted on the surface exposed outside, the guard net 5 is held between the exterior heat exchanger 11 and a support member 6, click parts 6a of the support member 6 are hooked on the upper and lower or the right and left refrigerant pipes 12 of the exterior heat exchanger 11, the guard net 5 is fixed by the elastic force of the support member 6.
