PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose interface device adaptive to communication of location information and communication with an information communication network and to further provide an information collection system using the interface device. SOLUTION: The interface device 1 connects devices such as an information acquisition device 3 acquiring information of a digital camera, etc. at the present location and communication equipment 2 connected to the information communication network 4. In addition, the interface device 1 transmits data acquired by communication with the connected devices, the location information and other information included in the data acquired by itself to the information communication network 4 via the communication equipment 2. An information collection device 5 receives the transmitted data via the information communication network 4 and registers the data in association with other information data based on the location information.
