PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display and notify hazardous locations, obstacles and the like to a driver and ensure that the driver views the hazardous locations and the like. SOLUTION: Hazardous locations and the like are stored in advance in an HDD 12 together with corresponding position information, and when such a location is approached, it is imaged. Characters, symbols or the like notifying the presence are displayed by means of a windshield display 9 in the direction of a driver's view of the hazardous location or the like. A confirmation is based on whether or not a speech recognition device 10 recognizes the speech of the driver's utterance of the displayed characters, symbols or the like or on whether or not a corresponding confirmation switch 31 is turned on, and if neither confirmation is successful, a warning is issued to the driver.
