PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching tool capable of attaching an apparatus without requiring a large space on the rear of a ceiling. SOLUTION: The attaching tool for a ceiling-hung apparatus includes a supporting piece 10 to be fitted in an opening 60 of a ceiling 6 to hang the apparatus and support it, an abutting piece 11 contacting the lower surface of the ceiling 6, a connecting piece 2 for connecting the supporting piece 10 to the abutting piece 11, and a pressing piece 3 contacting the upper surface of the ceiling 6. The pressing piece 3 is provided movably up and down along a screw axis 4 fitted to the abutting piece 11. The pressing piece 3 is provided movably between a first position as an upright posture and a second position where the pressing piece 3 moves downward, while abutting on the connecting piece 2 in the midway of descending along the screw axis 4 from the first position to clamp the ceiling 6 between itself and the abutting piece 11 while a tip portion abuts on the upper surface of the ceiling 6.
