PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system which includes a wireless remote control terminal and a control unit and capable of remotely controlling the control unit by using a control signal sent from the wireless remote control terminal, wherein mutual ID confirmation between the wireless remote control terminal and control unit being simplified while security is ensured. SOLUTION: The wireless remote control terminal transmits the control signal including an operation command and an ID allocated individually to the wireless remote control terminal in the form of a radio signal, and enters a reception mode thereafter for a certain time. When receiving a radio signal including its ID and a state display command within the time, the wireless remote control terminal performs state display corresponding to the state display command at a display unit. When receiving a radio control signal including a previously registered ID, the control unit executes an operation command included in the control signal and sends the results of the execution back together with the same ID as the received ID.
