PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable structure for applying a heat exchange element for forming a thin film with water repellent property on a thin film with hydrophilic property. SOLUTION: This article has a thin film having a water repellent part and a hydrophilic part. The hydrophilic part is formed of a first thin film formed on a base material. The first thin film is formed by two-dimensional or three-dimensional contact of particles covered with hydrophilic members, and the water repellent part is formed of a second thin film formed on the first thin film. The particle diameter of particles in the first thin film is to be 0.5-50μm, the thickness of the members with hydrophilic property is to be at least 0.01 times as large as the grain diameter, and the thickness of the members with hydrophilic property positioned in the lower part of the second thin film is to be 0.01 to 0.5 times as large as the particle diameter.
