PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reduction of ventilating resistance and fitting rigidity compatible with each other in an up-blow type exterior unit of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1 with a plurality of exterior fan electric motors 13a, 13b, 13c, an air conditioner outer surface constructed by a top frame 31 forming the skeleton of the air conditioner 1 is divided into compartments 35a, 35b, 35c housing exterior fans 12a, 12b, 12c, separately from the top frame 31, fitting wires 32 of the exterior fan electric motors 13a, 13b, 13c are provided to directly mount the plurality of exterior fan electric motors 13a, 13b, 13c on the wires 42 in the compartments 35a, 35b, 35c, respectively, and the wires 42 and the top frame 31 are connected by support wire rods 33a, 33b, 33c.
