PHOTOCATALYTIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic composite material which has the excellent ability to decompose/remove toxic substances contained in air, water or the like and is useful for cleaning the environment and to provide a method for manufacturing the photocatalytic composite material easily and efficiently. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the photocatalytic composite material comprises, at the least, a molding step of kneading a base material with a photocatalyst and molding the kneaded mixture and a crushing step of crushing the molded material obtained at the molding step to expose at least a part of the combined photocatalyst to the surface of the molded material.
