PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine with entertaining potentialities unavailable in the prior art. SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with a display which has a rectangular display area that allows the arraying of a plurality of symbols and enables the setting of at least two cross lines for connecting diagonal angles of the display area in it and a controller which carries out the rearrangement of the plurality of symbols in the display area, sets the two cross lines when the same symbols are rearranged respectively at both ends of the individual diagonal lines of the display area while cross symbols having a function as two types of symbols rearranged at both the ends of the individual cross lines are rearranged on the intersection of the cross lines.
