PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support fitting for stretching a safety rope which can be easily and surely arranged in the ceiling portion of facilities with a hanging ring. SOLUTION: The support fitting for stretching the safety rope has a cylindrical first horizontal leg portion 13 which extends on the ceiling portion 51-1 and keeps front end opening portions 14a open at both ends, a base portion body 11 having a cylindrical supporting post holding portion 18 which extends in a vertical direction and keeps an upper opening portion 18a open, second horizontal leg portions 21 which keeps base ends 21a slidably inserted into the inside of the first horizontal leg portions 13 from the front end opening portions 14a, and base portion securing means 25 engaged with hanging rings 52 are arranged in the front end portions, and a supporting post 31 which keeps distal end 31a inserted into the supporting post holding portion 18 and has a safety rope engaging portion 32 for engaging the safety rope 49 in an upper portion.
