PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect pest control member which can gradually release an insect pest control ingredient, can maintain a pharmacological insect pest control effect over a long period, and has a shape capable of physically preventing the invasion of insect pests in a target object. SOLUTION: This insect pest control member is set to a target object such as a building or a housing, is at least partially formed of a material containing a pest control ingredient, can forcibly change the invasion route of the insect pests into the target object, and can drop or stop the insect pests forward moving along the invasion route.
