A camera module is provided to prevent a lighting part from being wrong operated due to a wrong detection of a photosensor and extend the expected life span of the lighting part by installing the photosensor in a lens holder to fix a lens part in order to detect the light incident through the lens part and to detect the illumination of a region the lens part photographs. A camera module is comprised of a main body, a lens holder(21), a lens part(20), a photosensor(30), and a lighting part. The lens holder(21) is combined so as to enclose a CCD(Charged Coupled Device) element part(35) installed on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(15b). The lens part(20), combined with the lens holder(21), photographs an object. The photosenso, installed in the main body, detects external light. The lighting part selectively emits light according to the intensity of the light detected at the photosensor. The photosensor is installed in the lens holder(21) so as to detect the light incident through the lens part(20) and to detect the illuminance of a region the lens part(20) photographs.
