PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of reducing the labor and time of an image update operation by a service provider and providing an image with respect to the service to a user.

SOLUTION: This information providing device for providing service information including an image relating to a predetermined service through a network to terminal equipment is provided with: a database access means for performing access to a database in which the service information is registered so as to be associated with provider identification information corresponding to a provider so that the service information can be discriminated, and one division information of division information for dividing content into plurality according to the lapse of time assigned to an image included in the service information is registered; an image selection means for selecting the image satisfying the division information assigned to the image included in the service information and the division information at the current point of time or after the lapse of a predetermined period since the current point of time; and a service information providing means for transmitting the service information through the network to terminal equipment which has transmitted provision request information.
