PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic device, and a photographic system, with which an image according to brightness of the surroundings is obtained without changing an angle of field. SOLUTION: The photographic device has: a detection means for detecting the brightness of a subject; a light emitting means for irradiating the subject with invisible light; a visible light imaging element which images a visible light image to output an image signal indicating the visible light image; an invisible light imaging element which images an invisible light image to output an image signal indicating the invisible light image; a mirror which mechanically switches an incident destination of incident light indicating the subject to an imaging area of either of the visible light imaging element or the invisible light imaging element; and a control means for controlling the mirror so as to switch the incident destination to the image pickup area of the visible light imaging element when the brightness of the subject detected by the detection means is equal to or more than prescribed brightness, controlling the mirror so as to switch the incident light to the imaging area of the invisible light imaging element, and also simultaneously controlling the light emitting means so as to irradiate the area with the invisible light when the brightness of the subject is less than the prescribed brightness.
