<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system having a means to correct a phase change by obtaining an absolute phase. <P>SOLUTION: Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing a receiving channel section of a radar system.Signal coming from signal lines L1, L2, L5, and L6 are phase-synchronized. A 77 GHz signal input from the signal line L1 is on/off-modulated by a 5 MHz signal input from the signal line L6. Then the signal is mixed with a 77 GHz signal input from signal line L2 by a mixer 13 and orthogonally demodulated by a 5 MHz signal input from the signal line L5. With this, a phase value is detected. A phase value is corrected by subtracting this phase value from a detected phase of a signal obtained by reception of a reflected wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
