PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid missing the sales opportunity of articles by determining the number of days before each article becomes deteriorated due to high temperature, using the temperature of each article accommodation position, and by appropriately suspending the sales due to high-temperature deterioration of the article. SOLUTION: The accommodation position of the article is detected by an article accommodation position detection means 4, and the temperature of the article accommodation position is detected by an article accommodation position temperature detection means 5. From a predetermined number of tolerable days under a high temperature, stored in a high-temperature day count storage means 6, and an article accommodation position temperature by means of the article accommodation position temperature detection means 4, the number of days before suspending the sales due to high-temperature deterioration is calculated in a remaining day count calculation means 7, and the data thereof is stored in a remaining day count storage means 8. Based on the data, a decision means 9 decides whether the sales of the article concerned is to be suspended, and on deciding to suspend the sales, the sales of the article concerned is suspended by a sales suspension means 10.
