PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is arbitrarily combined with a backlight independent of a shape of a metal case or a resin frame of a liquid crystal panel and improves versatility of the backlight by maintaining a proper gap between the backlight and a lens film arranged the under side of the liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: A protrusion 37 is formed on the front surface side or the top surface of a light guide plate 31 of the backlight 22, and the under surface of the resin frame 27 of the liquid crystal panel 21 is supported by the protrusion 37. A gap 42 is formed between a bottom plate of a frame 36 and the light guide plate by a support part 38 disposed on the light guide plate 31, whereby a reflection film 35 arranged in the gap 42 is prevented from receiving the load.
