PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic charge image development having excellent fixing and anti-blocking, and with less odor by an emulsion polymerization aggregation process. SOLUTION: A method of producing the toner for electrostatic charge image development includes: an emulsion polymerization process for generating polymer primary particle dispersion liquid by emulsion-polymerizing a polymerization monomer; an aggregation process for generating a particle aggregation body by adding at least a coloring agent to the polymer primary particle dispersion liquid to cause aggregation; and a maturation process for maturing the obtained particle aggregation body. In the emulsion polymerization process, organic hydro peroxide is used as a polymerization initiator, when a 10-hour half-life temperature of organic hydro peroxide is T<SB>H</SB>(°C), an emulsion polymerization reaction temperature is T<SB>H</SB>-110(°C) or more, and T<SB>H</SB>-60(°C) or less.
