PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a constitution avoiding over-specifications when a constant voltage circuit which performs voltage conversion to a constant circuit, such as a boosting circuit, is provided between a capacitor and a fixing heater. SOLUTION: A fixing device includes the capacitor 200c which acquires electric power of the commercial power source and accumulates the electric power, a second heater 100b which generates heat with electric power from the capacitor 200c, and a constant voltage module 400 which supplies the electric power accumulated in the capacitor 200c as a predetermined constant voltage to the second heater 100b. Two or more constant voltage modules 400 are provided and each constituted into an insulation type, and their output terminals are connected to each other in series to output the total voltage of constant voltages of the two or more constant voltage modules 400 to the second heater 100b.
