PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile meter capable of displaying measurement values while fully making the most of metallic feeling with a metal dial. SOLUTION: The vehicle meter 1 for displaying the measurement values in a vehicle comprises a metal meter panel 2 for composing at least the periphery of a meter index, and LED arrays 5 (51-54) for irradiating the index with light from a rear side. The index comprises the aggregate of minute holes 211, 251, or the like penetrating the metal meter panel 2; a metal part is included between the minute holes 211, 251, or the like for composing the index part; and an inner part, such as "0" and "8", surrounded by the design of the index, and the outer part of the design of the index are composed of the same member.
