PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance shutoff force of internal reflected light, and to acquire high detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The device includes a frequency shifter for shifting only scattered light from a received target as much as a desired frequency portion, and a filter for passing only a beat signal component in local light and the scattered light from the target shifted as much as the frequency portion from a received signal taken out of an optical receiver with which the internal reflected light is intermingled.
