摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant compressor of less vibration by reducing weight of a piston. SOLUTION: Weight of the piston 126 can be reduced by providing a rib 163 projecting toward an axial center of the piston 126 near a pin hole 162 in a hollow part 161 of the cylindrical piston 126 reciprocating in a compression chamber 123 and making a width of the rib 163 in a view from an axial direction of the piston 126 smaller than a diameter of a piston pin 142. Consequently, since reciprocation inertia force generated by reciprocating motion of the piston 126 in the cylinder can be made less, unbalance force can be reduced and the low vibration refrigerant compressor can be provided.
