发明名称 Improvements in or relating to the spinning and treatment of viscose
摘要 <PICT:0761156/IV(a)/1> <PICT:0761156/IV(a)/2> Freshly spun viscose filaments are aftertreated with liquids in a pipe system comprising a plurality of vertical pipes interconnected by diameter-reducing valves arranged for simultaneous operation either to establish a long uninterrupted flow or to divide the pipes up into a number of sections to enable different liquids to circulate in the different sections. The filaments pass from the coagulating bath 3, Fig. 2, over the godet pulley 5 and down a pipe 8 wherein they are subject to liquid treatment, to one of a pair of centrifuges 23. When one pot is filled, the filaments are severed and led into the second pot, whereby continuity of production is preserved, and whereby the filaments collected in the first pot may, if desired, be subject to a further liquid treatment by opening taps 28 and passing liquid from pipeline 16 into the funnel 25 through the centrifuge and via drain pipe 27 into trough 29 for recirculation. Whilst passing through vertical pipe 8, the filaments may be subject to a succession of different liquid treatments, the various liquids being prevented from intermixing by separator valves 11, each of which comprises a restricted orifice, e.g. 1 mm. diameter, for the passage of the filament. Fig. 3 illustrates a layout for treating filaments with 3 different liquids on their passage through the pipe; liquid a is fed from a pipe line by opening tap 9 (Fig. 2) and passing the liquid into the funnel at the top of the pipe and out via valve 18; liquid b is passed into and out of the middle section of pipe 8 through similar valves 18; liquid c is introduced into the lower section of pipe 8 through similar valves and emerges with the filaments at nozzles 21. The separator valves 11 which separate different sections of the pipe and prevent the different liquids mixing may be either of two types. Type 11-A comprises a flexible tubular lining which may be contracted to form a constriction 12 just big enough for the passage of the filaments or may be expanded as at 13 to facilitate threading up, by the application of pressure or partial vacuum between the flexible lining and its rigid casing. Type 11-B is similar except that the flexible lining is made integral with an outer lining. The control valves 19, which connect the separator valves 11-A or 11-B to a source of pressure or partial vacuum, and the valves 18 controlling the flow of the different treating liquids are all interconnected, e.g. electrically or pneumatically, for simultaneous operation. When spinning is first commenced, all the valves 18 are closed and all the separator valves 11 have their flexible linings fully expanded to provide a full bore passage throughout the length of pipe 8. Spinning is commenced on the upper floor and the filaments led into the funnel at the top of pipe 8 and taps 9 opened to provide a flow of liquid down the pipe to carry the filaments through. The operator on the lower floor feeds the filaments over the godet roller 51, which rotates at a higher peripheral speed than the feed roller 5 so imparting stretch, and into the centrifugal pot. All valves are then operated to constrict the flexible linings of separator valves 11 and to commence the flow of the treating liquids through the various sections of pipe 8.
