PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately draw a mark as a reference of a drilling position and to facilitate the drilling work when post-installing an air conditioner to an elevator car. SOLUTION: A template 10 is structured by forming a template body 11 formed of a sheet-like member with a position display part 12 showing a hole position of a bolt for fitting an air conditioner, and position display parts 13 and 14 showing hole positions of opening parts passing through an air flow opening of the air conditioner and outside thereof. The template 10 is positioned in a side board of the elevator car, and notch parts 12-14 of the template 10 are traced by a marking means to draw marks for drilling in the side board 2, and furthermore, a hole for the bolt for installing the air conditioner and a hole for the opening parts passing through the air flow opening of the air conditioner and the outside thereof are formed based on the marks.
