PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling apparatus suitable for high-mix low-volume production, which is capable of surely pasting a label on an article by surely rotating the article even if a margin of error of an outer diameter of the article is large, or manufacturing lots have outer diameters having slightly different kinds. SOLUTION: The labeling apparatus includes a rolling holding part 10 capable of rolling and supporting a body DA of the article WA. The rolling holding part 10 consists of a support roller 12 capable of rolling and supporting the body DA of the article WA, a guide roller 17 capable of guiding both sides of the body DA of the article WA supported by the support roller 12, and a rotationally driving part 16 capable of rotationally driving the support roller 12. The labeling apparatus includes a label sucking and pressing part 50 capable of sucking the label L and pressing it resiliently onto the body DA of the article WA rolled by the rolling holding part 10 so as to paste the label L onto the body DA by rolling of the body DA.
