PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conveyance performance for a recording medium by a conveying member, by suppressing attraction failure to the conveying member of the recording medium and variation of the behavior of the conveying member. SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves 50 extending in a belt width direction are formed side by side in a belt rotation direction at an outer peripheral face 28A of a conveyance belt 28. A film with hydrophilic properties is formed in the groove 50, and a film with water repellent properties is formed on a projecting face 28B which contacts a paper P and a charging roll 36.
